Last House on the Left

I wasn't aware of this movie at all until the other day watch Breaking Bad. Aaron Paul is in it so I guess they were looking at doing some cross promotion for the movie. It came out in 2009 after all. Its a movie about a group of criminals that just broke their leader out from a police ride to a local prison. The families daughter ends up getting caught up with them which eventually leads them to a lake house her family was staying at for the summer. The acting leaves a lot to be desired. There are some glimpses of good acting though. They say bad writing means bad acting to maybe the writing was a bit poor as well.

It's one of those movies that wasn't all that terrible but its still pretty bad. Aaron Pauls death scene is one to watch! Its the prettiest bloody death you'll ever see in a movie. Visually it wasn't shot all that badly. again the movie kept my attention unlike a great many other movies. I found my self routing for the family and even the girls. By the end of the movie the tables flipped and it showed the family taking back what was theirs. after all you can't have a movie with out a happy ending now can you? All in all it was a fun watch but nothing to go crazy over to see.
